The sailor

He looked at the blue water standing on the shore.

Somehow deep down, he knew that once he went in, there was no coming back. All the bonds holding him back were insignificant compared to the pull of water.

He took in a deep breath and let everything go.

Second

“Is this the first of its kind?”
“No. Actually it is the second that was ever built.”
“What’s the point then?”
“Well, for starters, it has more functionality than the first one in some areas.”
“Screw all that. First sounds so much better.”

Dreams

He was dreaming.

He dreamt of red rivers and black skies. Uneasy dreams of yellow gases, twisted crosses, Uneven horizon and glitter of neon.

He dreamt of assassinations of kings, rapes of queens and mass murderers.

The dream that haunted him the most was that of his own un-dreaming sleep.
